Geneva: Baloch Republican Party held shutter down strikes and events all across the world including Balochistan, US, European countries and the United Kingdom on tenth martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti. Activists paid tributes to their elder leader and vowed to continue their struggle following the ideology of the father of the nation.
Baloch Republican Party chapters in the European countries including Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece and South Korea held events, remembered Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti and paid tributes to him for his lifetime struggle and ultimate sacrifices for the Balochistan freedom.
Party chapter in the United Kingdom also held a seminar, paid tributes to Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti for his struggle and sacrifices. A large number of Party activists and UK citizens and Baloch leader Sardar Bakhtiar Khan Domki participated, paid their respect to the father of the nation and expressed their solidarity with Baloch people.
Party Chief Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, other activists and large number of German citizens had participated in the events in Germany. Nawab Bugti addressed the participants about Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti and paid tributes to him for his struggle and sacrifices for an independent Balochistan through a video message.
Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti in his speech paid his respect and tributes to the father of nation Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti and directed activists in Balochistan and abroad to continue their struggle following the footsteps of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti. He also expressed the need for unity among Baloch pro-freedom organization “because unity is the key to freedom”.
He further said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was being built on the dead bodies of Baloch civilians who opposed the project that goes against their will.
This was Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti’s message to activists and Baloch nation: “I would also give a message to the Baloch activists in Balochistan and abroad that we need to continue the struggle for which father of the nation Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti and thousands sacrificed their precious lives. There is a huge responsibility on our shoulders to strive to realize the dream of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti. The dream he saw for his people, the dream for which he struggle and sacrificed his life. The dream that guarantees a free and bright future for us and our generations to come. The dream of free and an independent Baloch homeland.”
Other guests in the Germany events were: Tajinder Pal S Bagga Editor Namo Patrika and Convener Bhagat Singh Kranti sena, Yehuda Joshua Glick, an American-born Israeli rabbi and current Member of Knesset (Israel's parliament) for Likud party.), Nathalie Blackham, a Broadcast Journalist, and National Union of Journalists UK and International Federation of Journalists, Kamal Khan Human Rights Activist, a former regional coordinator of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Bibi Mahdim Baloch, an Independent Educational Consultant and advocate of Baloch Women's rights, Anshul Saxena Foreign Affairs, Politics, National Security Analyst., Covering Asia and The Middle East, Shawn Forbes A Canada based journalist with Balochi TV Online and a human rights activist supporting the Baloch Liberation struggle, Aditya Raj Kaul a Journalist at Times Now Foreign affairs & Conflict reporter, and a British Actor Antonio Aakel.
The guests addressed the participants, paid their respect to Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti and stood in solidarity with the Baloch nation as they mourned their leader.
BRP Germany Chapter also held a protest after the event in Leipzig. The protesters highlighted human rights violations and military operations in Balochistan and chanted slogans against China and Pakistan for oppressing the Baloch nation.
Meanwhile, Shutter down strike was observed across Balochistan including Dera Bugti mourning the assassination of their leader, Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti. Pakistani forces in Sui, forced and tortured shopkeepers to reopen their shops.
References, Holy Quran Recitation and events were also held in Khaleej and different parts of Balochistan including Karachi, Sui and Dera Bugti. Women and children also participated in Holy Quran recitation and references to pay their respect to their elder leader Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti on his tenth Martyrdom anniversary.
Party activists from all of these events delivered speech on the lifetime struggle and sacrifices of Shaheed Nawab Akbar Bugti, paid homage and pledged to continue their struggle following the ideology and footprints of the father of Nation.
