Pakistan Army's genocide in Balochistan is directly beneficial to the international companies: BSO-AZAD
In Reaction to the Pakistan occupier army chief's recent visit to Gwadar; the Baloch Student Organization (Azad) spokesperson expressed concerns that renewed military operations in the region would intensify because Pakistan military is committed to their dreams of securing the international investments at Gwadar. The BSO-Azad spokesperson acknowledged that the occupier state has endeavored to change the demographics; reducing the Baloch people to a minority in their own homeland. The Baloch nation's thousand-year existence and national liberation struggle is considered by the occupier forces as the greatest threat to the exploitation of Balochistan. The State's military power is wielded as a proxy force for foreign companies against the Baloch people.
The BSO-Azad spokesperson said that since the completion of agreements for the Gwadar economic corridor projects, the State's forces have drastically increased the severity of the military operations directed against defenseless Baloch people. The state governments own institutions have themselves acknowledged that during the short period of the past one year, more than ten thousand Baloch have been arrested during military operations. The BSO-Azad spokesperson added that countless Baloch including women & children have also been injured and displaced as result of the military operations in Balochistan.
The BSO-Azad spokesperson said that already since the start of the new year, Baloch communities are subjected to state bombardments and unlawful arrests. During the past few days in various areas of the Mashkay region of Balochistan, State ground and air forces have engaged in several military operations; which resulted in the deaths and injuries of many innocent people.
The BSO-Azad spokesperson said that the Pakistan Army's genocide in Balochistan is directly beneficial to the international companies involved in the exploitative investments in Balochistan. They are a unified force in the oppression of the Baloch people in Balochistan. Pakistan and China's settlements are directly endangering the lives of the Baloch.
The BSO-Azad spokesperson added that in these circumstances; the responsibility for enforcing the international treaties governing warfare and declarations for the protection of human rights falls squarely upon the United Nations and international institutions. The BSO-Azad spokesperson urged these organizations to intervene and resolve these problems in the Balochistan. The BSO-Azad spokesperson said thousands of Baloch have already been abducted and killed; further hesitation to intervene will result in thousands of more lives lost.
